The 0.9mm, 2mm, 3mm, 3.8mm, and 5.0mm furcation tubing consists of an inner tube surrounded by aramid yarn and an overall PVC\/LSZH\/Armored jacket. Inner tubes are available in specific sizes to accept either bare or buffered fibers. The 900 micron furcation tubing is a single tube designed specifically for the protection and termination of 250μm bare fiber. This tubing accepts either bare or tight buffer and provides durable protection when breaking out cables. A newly engineered inner tube protects against crushing or kinking. Our FT900KY, FT900KB, and FT900KK tubing include Kevlar threads to be used as a pull string when feeding optical fiber.
