NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 800GBASE-LR8 (2x 400GBASE-LR4) OSFP 800G transceiver module supports a max data rate of 850Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 10km over single-mode fiber (SMF) with dual LC duplex connectors. The 800 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over 4 wavelengths at 1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, and 1331nm. F-tone manufactured 2x 400GBASE LR4 OSFP complies with IEEE 802.3-2022 and 100G Lambda MSA (2x400GBASE-LR4-6 optical interface, 2x400G-LR4-10 optical interface), IEEE 802.3df-2024 (2x400GAUI-4 C2M electrical interface), OSFP MSA HW Rev 5.1, CMIS Rev 5.2. DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 800G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the LR8 OSFP achieves 800 Gigabit Ethernet through 8x 106.25 PAM4. The 800G 2xLR4 OSFP is widely used for 800 gigabit Ethernet, data centers, and 800G to 2x 400G applications.
