Seikoh Giken SFP-550 Fiber Polishing Machine Programmable EZ-Maintenance & High Duty Cycle

The SFP-550S3 polisher series is Seikoh Giken's top of the line mass production model developed under our recently introduced "Ez-Maintenance and High Duty Cycle" concept. Compared to the previous SFP-550 series, there is dramatic improvement in ease of maintenance and machine durability for mass production work zones. SG estimates maintenance cost reduction of nearly 90% (per our internal test) can be achieved compared to older generation polishers.

It features a full function, programmable LCD touch panel for installation and modification of various polishing processes allowing unlimited customization of process detailed parameters. Additionally, it features a slow start function, user controlled, programmable turntable speed and voltage-free power input for world-wide versatile installation.

The most notable feature is our unique auto polishing time distribution which allows the polishing time to gradually change after each use of the polishing film. It provides stable grinding force for uniform endface geometry and extends film service life. Developed for use in high volume mass-production environments where critical geometry performance is required.
