Dell Networking 462-3638 compatible 40G QSFP+ DAC breakout cable is comprised of a Twinax copper cable terminated with a QSFP+ form factor module on one end and four SFP+ form factor modules on the other end.

This 40G QSFP+ DAC breakout cable is verified to interoperate with a wide range of original Dell platforms, including the E3200 series PowerSwitch Edge switches (E3248P-ON, E3248PXE-ON), PowerSwitch Z-series data center switches (Z9432F-ON), the PowerSwitch S5448F-ON and S5200-ON series switches (S5212F-ON, S5224F-ON, S5248F-ON, S5296F-ON, S5232F-ON), the PowerSwitch S4300 series 10GbE switches (S4348F-ON, S4348T-ON), PowerSwitch S4100 series 10GbE switches (S4112F-ON, S4112T-ON, S4128F-ON, S4128T-ON, S4148F-ON, S4148T-ON), the PowerSwitch Out-of-Band management switches (N3248TE-ON, S3248T-ON), the MX7000 Ethernet switches (EMC MX5108n, EMC MX9116n).
