FOG Optical Module, Standard Freestanding Fiber Coil for Φ50mm FOG

An optical component used in a closed-loop FOG is a special optical module that is composed of a fiber coil and optical devices (Y waveguide, coupler, detector, light source) fused and assembled according to the order of the gyroscope optical path. It can replace the optic fiber coil, optical devices and other loose parts for direct modular installation on the gyroscope, so as to simplify the gyroscope assembly process. Devices with 1310nm working wavelength are adopted for this module and its zero bias stability at room temperature is 0.07~0.2°/h. It has the advantages of integration, small size, and is easy to install.

Based on experience of more than ten years in coil production, the structure can be optimized according to customer optical path assembly requirements and use environment. The standard size low precision freestanding coil designed for small FOGs is wound with thin diameter Panda polarization-maintaining fiber and UV curing glue to provide an excellent sensitive coil solution for low precision FOGs.
