NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 800G OSFP XDR8 PAM4 InfiniBand NDR Optical Transceiver Module (2x XDR4, SMF, 1310nm, 2km, Dual MTP/MPO-12/APC, DOM, IHS/Closed Finned Top)

The NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand Compatible OSFP IHS/Closed Finned Top Optical Transceiver is an InfiniBand 800Gb/s 2x 400Gb/s Twin-port OSFP, XDR8 single-mode, parallel, 8-channel transceiver using two, 2-fiber, 4-channel MPO-12/APC optical connectors at 400Gb/s each. The modules uses 100G-PAM4 modulation and has a maximum fiber reach of 2000-meters using 8 single-mode fibers. It is qualified for use in InfiniBand NDR end-to-end systems.
Designed for NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networks, this OSFP transceiver delivers 800G high-speed connectivity for leaf-spine architectures and interconnects with NVIDIA ConnectX and BlueField-3 platforms. Its scalable, low-latency optical connectivity makes it well suited for large-scale GPU clusters, AI fabrics.


Note: "Finned-top" transceivers are now called "Integrated Heat Sink" (IHS), designed for air-cooled switches. "Flat-top" transceivers are now called "Riding Heat Sink" (RHS), supporting both air- and liquid-cooled applications with heat sinks mounted on system cages or network cards.
