Polarization Maintaining Fiber PLC Splitter Blockless Package Slow Axis 1x2 PM PLC Fiber Splitter

Polarization Maintaining Planar Light wave Circuit (PLC) splitter is a type of polarization maintaining optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. PM PLC splitter maintains polarization of input optical signal. Polarization maintaining optical splitter is an optical splitter in which the polarization of linearly polarized light waves launched into the fiber is maintained during propagation, with little or no cross−coupling of optical power between the polarization modes.

F-tone offers a large selection of polarization maintaining (PM) 1xN and 2xN optical splitter modules. PM splitters are supplied in configurations with 2, 4, 8 and 16 output channels. PM fibers are bonded to the PLC circuit chips using precision multi-fiber alignment techniques. Our splitter modules feature low insertion loss, low polarization dependence and high polarization extinction ratio over a wide wavelength range.
