The X2-10G85-3MA is a highly integrated,serial optical transponder module for high-speed,10Gbit/s data transmission application,4*3.125Gbps Ethernet Signal Input by XAUI Interface. This transceiver offers the same function with Cisco DS-X2-E10G-SR and it is fully compatible with Cisco devices.The module is fully compliant to IEEE 802.3ae. standard for Ethernet,making it ideally suited for 10GbE datacom (rack to-rack,client interconnection) applications. Designed for distances of up to 300m, the transponder module comprises a transmitter with a vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL),a receiver with a PIN photodiode,a XAUI-Attachment Interface, an integrated Coder /Decoder and multiplexer /de-multiplexer (SERDES: Serializer/Deserializer).
