AVAGO HFBR-1528Z Compatible Domestic Alternative Optical Module
product presentation
The FT-1528Z/2528Z series fiber optic transceivers are designed for use with 650nm plastic optical fibers (POF). They deliver high-performance and cost-effective fiber optic communication links for applications in industrial, power generation, medical, transportation, and gaming sectors. When the FT-1528Z is driven by a 60mA current, it achieves a minimum transmission distance of 53 meters.
The FT-1528Z/2528Z series is fully compatible with AVAGO’s HFBR-1528Z/2528Z series products. It supports industry-standard plastic optical fiber interfaces and features a horizontal configuration. This series is compatible with 1mm-diameter plastic optical fibers and 200μm-diameter HCS (Hard-Clad Silica) fibers.
The FT-1528Z is a transmitter, encapsulated with a high-power LED chip with a peak wavelength of 650nm. When paired with 1mm-core-diameter plastic optical fibers and driven by a 60mA current, its typical output optical power is -4dBm. The FT-2528Z is a receiver, consisting of a high-gain transimpedance amplifier (TIA) integrated with a photodiode. Its output stage adopts a rail-to-rail architecture, providing a final output of TTL levels. To enhance the stability of the receiver’s output pulse width, the receiver chip is designed with an automatic pulse width calibration circuit, ensuring pulse width distortion is within ±20ns.
