Coarse wavelength Division multiplexer (WDM) is a low-cost WDM transmission technology for the access layer of metropolitan area network (MAN). the optical multiplexer multiplexes optical signals of different wavelengths into a single optical fiber for transmission, the receiving end decomgenerates the mixed signals in the optical fiber into signals of different wavelengths through the optical demultiplexer, and is connected to the corresponding receiving equipment.
