Juniper JNP-QSFP-DAC-5M compatible 40G QSFP passive copper direct-attach cable (DAC) is comprised of a Twinax copper cable terminated with QSFP form factor modules on both ends. It is verified to interoperate with original Juniper switches, including the EX3400/4300/4400/4650, QFX5110/5120/5130/5200/5210/5220/5230/5700/10008/10016, etc. This 40G DAC cable has the advantage of convenient installation since the structure of modules is permanently attached to each end.

 

QSFP+ to QSFP+ 40G DAC cable is suitable for very short-distance transmission. It provides a cost-effective and low-power consumption way to build a 40Gb link between QSFP ports of switches or routers with racks and across adjacent racks.
