Engineered for the extreme bandwidth demands of large-scale AI/ML training clusters and hyperscale cloud networks, the OSFP-1.6T-DR8D delivers an aggregate data rate of 1.6Tbps using 8 lanes of 200G PAM4 signaling. Operating at 1311nm over Single Mode Fiber (SMF), it supports transmission up to 500m, making it ideal for intra-data center interconnects (DCI) and spine-leaf architectures.

This module features a Dual MPO-12 interface, enabling a native 2x 800G-DR4 breakout configuration to seamlessly bridge 1.6T switch ports with downstream 800G compute nodes or storage systems. Built on the hot-pluggable OSFP form factor with integrated thermal management (IHS/Finned Top support), it ensures reliable operation in high-density, air-cooled, and liquid-cooled environments while complying with OSFP MSA, IEEE 802.3dj, and CMIS Rev 5.x standards.
