FT-P-OTP800-TMUX(2G5) is a kind of Muxponder service board developed by F-tone. It can transparently gather 2*1.25G data to 1*2.5G data, as well as provide 1+1 data backup for 2*2.5G ports, which can tremendously save room for WDM modules and fiber resources, strengthen stability, as well as save cost.

• It provides 8 standard SFP ports, including 4 GE ports at the client side and 4 2.5G ports at the line side
• GE ports at the client side are isolated from each other
• It supports 1+1 backup protection for 2.5G ports at the line side

• It supports loopback setting of the client side and the line side

The FT-OEO800-MUX(2G5) board occupies one slot.
Valid Slots in the Sub-racks
a. In the FT-P-OTP800-2S rack mount, there is no slot designed for SC control board.
b. In the FT-P-OTP800-4S rack mount, the valid slot of the board is SLOT1 only.
c. In the FT-P-OTP800-11S rack mount, the valid slot of the board is SLOT1 only.

Application

MUX (2G5) achieves multiplexing of four Gigabit Ethernet service to two 2.5G link, thereby reduces wavelength requirements of the WDM system. There are 4 pluggable SFP ports at the client side and 4 pluggable XFP ports at the line side.
