View full details

Part Number: HD-SM-MDC-DX-FM

OS2 SingleMode MDC UPC Duplex to MDC UPC Duplex Uniboot, Riser (LSZH)

The cable is equipped with the MDC connector, a Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) duplex optical connector using proven 1.25mm LC ferrules, designed to terminate on 2.0mm micro cable. Individual connector access in the most extremely dense connector environments is easily accomplished using the revolutionary DirectConec™ push-pull boot technology. Its reverse-polarity design allows for quick and easy polarity conversion without exposing the fibers or needing any tools. The MDC cable was designed for breakout application in QSFP-DD, SFP-DD, and OSFP optical transceivers, as well as to challenge the "status quo" for patch panel density.

Features

● Uniboot Allows One Cable to Carry Two Fibers to Reduce Cable Congestion in High Density Patch Fields

● G.657.A1 & 10mm Min. Bend Radius

● 3x Fiber Cabling Density over Duplex LC, Providing 432 Fibers within 1 RU

● DirectConec™ Push-pull Boot for Effortless Connector Insertion and Extraction

● Simple Polarity Reversal with No Exposed Fibers

● Telcordia GR-326 and TIA-568 compliant

3x Higher Cabling Density Than MPO

MDC cables facilitate breakout applications in QSFP-DD, SFP-DD, and OSFP optical transceivers, offering improved patch panel density.

For 4x200G, 4x100G, and 2x50G breakout applications in QSFP-DD, OSFP, and SFP-DD transceivers.

Three-port MDC adapters enable three times the fiber density by fitting directly into standard duplex LC adapter panel openings.
